The place is important for historical monuments, mausoleums and buildings constructed during the reign of Mughal and Farukhi dynasty. They are an agglomeration of Muslim architecture. The must see in the list are Asirgarh, Faurkhi mausoleum, Akbari Sarai, Black Mosque, Shahanwaz khan’s mausoleum, Begum Shahsuza’s mausoleum and Gulara Palace and water supply system designed by Mughal engineers.
